Mark It Zero started with the idea during the pandemic of allowing more people access to the esoteric and rare equipment we’ve accumulated over the years without them having to be physically in the room to use it. Previously you’d have had to visit our London studio and rent it for a full day to make the most of it, but now with the advent of better audio tools for streaming audio live we can remotely allow people to try out these often rare and valuable bits of gear from the comfort of their own spaces.

This is a boutique business and unlike some other rival businesses which harness robots and leave everything very much in the hands of the user, we are here to provide the hands on manipulation and provide any additional production or creative input as and where needed. Our team has over 15 years of high end engineering and production experience in some of the biggest artists in the UKs finest studios so we get sometimes you’ll just want a hands off approach and other times you’ll want help choosing what may be right for your project. One of the great joys of creative work is collaboration and being able to lean on the advice of people who have either been there or experienced similar issues before and can bring help and confidence in what you’re doing

We offer several ways to use our services from 30 min to 1 hour bookings, an option to print a single stem through a specific piece of outboard at 3 contrasting settings and an option to work with one of our team as additional production/engineers. We also are happy figure out unique arrangements for larger projects that require flexibility.

As of now we are also in the early stages of providing remote drum parts, guitar parts and bass parts recorded through our rare and esoteric equipment. This would allow the user to send demos/midi parts/guide parts and our team of high end session musicians would either replay or interpret your work into high quality stems.
